Almost every other week the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office sells multiple tax foreclosed properties at auction. Frequently there are no bids on these properties and there are usually only a small number of participants. Unfortunately, too often the properties end up in the hands of individuals looking to flip the properties and who are not committed to the neighborhood where the properties are located. This can lead to neglect and blight.
This blog is an effort by the Hamilton County Land Reutilization Corporation to break this chain by disseminating information about the properties that will be offered at the Sheriff's sale.
Though the Sheriff's sale also offers mortgage foreclosed homes, this blog will highlight those properties that are being offered due to non-payment of property taxes.
The goal of this project is to provide an easy to understand and simplified source of general information for interested individuals.

It sure would be nice if I could search for properties in a certain zip code. When I enter 45224 in the search box, I get properties from all over.

ReplyDeleteI subscribe to the court index, and most of the houses listed here are not listed on there. 3909 Germania for example. Which list is more up to date? Do some of these listings get withdrawn? Thank you very much for your help
